Dougal Black has been designing, making and installing private and commercial interior carpentry for 30 years. His output is entirely custom-made to order and this site shows examples of his recent work.
The business is established in the Scottish Highlands close to the capital Inverness, near where Dougal and his wife Jane were brought up. Business is growing steadily, the workshop now regularly producing and installing a whole variety of bespoke woodwork, including libraries, studies and panelled rooms as well as custom-made unique furniture.
Finishing work is usually carried out prior to delivery, ensuring quick and clean installation in your home, and offering a wide range of professional stains, paints, polishes and clear finishes to suit your project.
Although Dougal Black Carpentry is based in Northern Scotland, distance is no object and work has been carried out from Caithness to Hampshire. Dougal is well experienced in communicating with customers at a distance and is happy to consider enquiries from anywhere in the UK.
