Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of working with many people, designing, planning and making fine furniture for them. As a result, I have made bookcases, beds, shelving units, alcoves, stairs, mantelpieces, sofas, tables, wardrobes, dressers, sideboards and cabinets of all kinds. I have made window shutters, kitchens, bars, panelled rooms and studies as well as two private libraries. I have gained considerable experience in the production of broadcast and recording studio furniture, including mixing desks and soundproof windows and doors. I have also designed and made hotel reception desks, computer workstations and shop counters. Recently I have undertaken sensitive alterations to listed properties under the supervision of Conservation Architects and Historic Scotland.
